Her journey also includes a significant tenure as the Chief of Staff at the City and County of San Francisco - Department of Technology (March 2016 - November 2019), where she honed her skills in public sector technology leadership.
Before her civic technology leadership, Nina was the Deputy Director of Programs at the Naval Postgraduate School (February 2013 - March 2016). There, she was involved in innovative projects like leading teams on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle autonomous swarms. Additionally, Nina's diverse background includes her experience as a US Congressional Fellow for Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr. (September 2011 - December 2012) and her role as the Director of the Education Portfolio for the U.S. Marines in Afghanistan (September 2009 - May 2011).
